COURSES
- UnpavedAttitude Gravel rides are in and around the rural Florahome community, on the paved and shaded Palatka-to-Lake Butler State Trail and the Etoniah Creek and Belmore State Forests. We are providing a century (100mi), medium (45mi) and short (20mi) gravel route. UnpavedAttitude Gravel routes provide the riders with a mix of terrain and scenery in the rural farming and forestry community of Florahome and two state forests. RideWithGPS links will be provided closer to the event date.
- Paved trail rides are out and back along the beautiful, paved and shaded Palatka-to-Lake Butler State Trail.
START LOCATION
- Palmetto Park, Florahome, FL – 151 East Michigan Street, Florahome (SR 100, turn north on Coral Farms Road (flashing light), turn right onto Michigan, drive past the Methodist Church, next right is the park and trailhead entrance.
PRE-RIDE AMENITIES
Included at no charge for those registered for a Saturday bike rides - is Friday afternoon ride called - Palatka Trail Town and Bartram Frolic Bike Ride.
- Palatka Trail Town and Bartram Frolic Bike Ride - Join us for a Friday afternoon, 5pm, Celebrate Trails kick-off at the Azalea City Brewing Co. (120 S. 7th St, Palatka) to learn what exciting things Palatka has to offer! Take a one hour guided cycling tour through historic downtown to view Palatka’s beautiful murals and visit the Bartram Frolic living history exhibits along Riverfront Park - the center point of Trail Town Palatka. Helmets are required for the ride
POST RIDE AMENITIES
- Included in registration - BBQ Chicken dinner with sides and drink from 11:30am to 1:30pm (meal only option is available for $15)
- Upbeat blues band between 11:30am to 1:30pm - Sweet William Trio. Bring a lawn chair for BBQ and Blues

This is a Rain or Shine event. No refunds or transfers.
In the event of inclement weather, emergency, or natural disaster, AWRC reserves the right to cancel or postpone the race. In the event of cancellation or postponement, there will be no refunds.
The safety of our participants and volunteers is our most important concern and if any of the threatening weather conditions are present the day of the event (tornado warning, tornado watch, thunderstorm, heavy rain or a hurricane decides to visit), the event may be delayed or canceled.
When weather conditions or other physical conditions present a danger to participants, such conditions fall under the label “acts of mother nature,” it will not result in refunding of any event entry fees or future event credits, since funds were already spent in preparation for your event day.
